Photo Safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo
Normally the safari tours around the zoo are in a big bus which sticks to the roads, not great for photography. This safari is different in that there are just 12 people, basically in the back of a small flatbed truck which can go almost anywhere!
In my case there were just 6 of us, and I was the only one really wanting to take photos.
The driver was fantastic, she gave us lots of information about the animals and the zoo, and waited until we had enough photos before asking if we wanted to move on to another area.
I had a great time, now I need to revisit the other two of the three big zoos in Melbourne which you really should go to if you get the chance.
Hunters first Xmas
Hunter has celebrated his first ever Xmas at 5 months old, and he loved it. Unwrapping presents was a great new game, trying to eat the wrapping paper was just as much fun!
He got lots of toys and clothes - and he's been playing with them all ever since.
Just a few days after Xmas he learnt how to crawl! One day he was tentatively balancing on two legs and one hand, and the next he was zipping around the floor. Now he can cross any room in under 5 seconds (faster when Mum & Dad aren't looking!)
