Photo Safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo

For my birthday this year I received a present I'd wanted for ages - a Photographic Safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo

Normally the safari tours around the zoo are in a big bus which sticks to the roads, not great for photography. This safari is different in that there are just 12 people, basically in the back of a small flatbed truck which can go almost anywhere!
In my case there were just 6 of us, and I was the only one really wanting to take photos.
The driver was fantastic, she gave us lots of information about the animals and the zoo, and waited until we had enough photos before asking if we wanted to move on to another area.
I had a great time, now I need to revisit the other two of the three big zoos in Melbourne which you really should go to if you get the chance.

I've put some photos up, click on the image to go to the gallery.
