Some Archery news

A few months ago I had my first attempt at Clout, a particular form of archery where you shoot 165m at a marker on the ground. I seemed to have a knack for this type of archery, winning the State Championship on my first try - but it was hard to judge since there were not a lot of competitors on the day.

Yesterday I shot Clout for the second time, this time at the Waverley City Archers club Clout Championship. Again I found that things seemed natural for me, this time I shot a new State Record for both the single and double 165m Clout scores (314 for the single, 621 for the double - assuming the paperwork gets filed!) breaking the previous records which had stood for 14 and 10 years respectively.
I'm looking forward to shooting Clout again, but it is a pretty rare event these days and I might have to wait until next year to do it again.
